About Every Tap

Every Tap sells whole-house water filtration to Victorian homes at a published fixed price, supplied and installed, with a licensed plumber doing the work.

Why it exists

Filtered water in a Melbourne house is a solved problem and an unsolved purchase. The gear is ordinary, the install is a few hours, and the price sits behind a consultation, a showroom or a form that asks for your phone number and gives you nothing back.

Most of this market will not tell you what it costs until someone has been to your house. We took the opposite position: publish the price, publish the conditions, publish the add-ons, and let people decide on their own time.

It also means the cost of selling stays out of your price. There is no showroom, and the price is worked out from a photograph of the water meter rather than from a visit to look at it.

How it is set up

You contract with Every Tap, so there is one company to call about the price, the date, the warranty and the cartridges, rather than a chain of people pointing at each other.

Every install is carried out by a licensed Victorian plumber engaged for the job, who issues the plumbing compliance certificate the law requires. Every Tap is not a plumbing company and does not hold a plumbing licence. It supplies the system, holds your contract and pays the plumber.

The part most businesses leave out

Every Tap is new. It launched in 2026, and there is no wall of reviews on this site because there is not yet a wall of reviews to put there.

What there is instead: a published price, published conditions, a published add-on list, a real ABN, a licensed plumber on every job and a compliance certificate issued for the work. Those are the things you can check before you send anyone money, and they are the reason the price is on the front page instead of behind a form.
