Terms of supply and installation
Who you are dealing with
Innovate Build Co Pty Ltd as trustee for the Innovate Build Co Trust, ABN 39 749 404 883, trading as Every Tap. You contract with Every Tap.
The licensed plumber who installs your system is engaged by Every Tap as a subcontractor and is not the party you contract with. Contact is hello@everytap.com.au.
Your price and what it is based on
The price we send you is a fixed price for the package you chose, including GST, based on the photos and details you supplied.
It includes the system, the weatherproof housing, the fittings, the installation by a licensed plumber, the compliance certificate for the work, and a full set of cartridges fitted, good for twelve months. It includes any published add-on your photos showed you need, and those add-ons are listed with their prices at /packages/.
The one thing we cannot price from a photograph
Mains water pressure. If it tests over 500 kPa on the day, a pressure reducing valve is required at $350. That amount is named in your quote before you pay anything.
Nothing else is added on site, and the person installing your system has no authority to quote, vary, discount or negotiate price.
If your site is not what the photos showed
If the site is materially different from the photos you supplied, we tell you before any work starts. You can then accept a revised price in writing, or cancel.
If we cannot install at all, you receive a full refund of everything you have paid, deposit and balance both. If we can install at a revised price and you decide not to go ahead, we retain only our actual out-of-pocket cost and refund the rest, and we show you what that cost was.
Work does not start until you have chosen.
The supply deposit
50% of the package price, payable once you accept the price. It is a supply deposit: your system is ordered specifically for your house, and nothing is charged for the act of booking a date.
Full refund if we cancel or if we cannot install. If you cancel for your own reasons after your system has been ordered, including declining a revised price under "If your site is not what the photos showed" above, we retain only our actual out-of-pocket cost and refund the rest, and we will show you what that cost was.
The balance
Invoiced with your install date confirmation and due on or before the day of install. Both payments are made to Every Tap by payment link against a tax invoice.
Nobody attending your property collects or handles payment of any kind.
Your install date
Booked once your system is in hand, not when you pay, so a supplier delay never moves a date you have already been given.
If we move your install date, we tell you as soon as we know. If the new date is more than 14 days later than the one confirmed, or if we move it more than once, you may cancel and receive a full refund of everything you have paid. Otherwise the cancellation terms above apply.
Access and what we need from you
Reasonable access to the water meter and the install position, someone over 18 at the property, and power available where a system needs it. Your water is off for part of the install.
Compliance certificate
A plumbing compliance certificate is issued for the work by the licensed plumber who carries it out and is lodged as Victorian law requires. It is issued to you.
Warranty
What is covered and who you claim from is set out in full at /warranty/, and forms part of these terms.
Water Care
Not included in the package price. Your system is fitted with a full set of cartridges, good for twelve months. Water Care is the optional service that replaces them after that, priced at /water-care/, with no lock-in and cancellable at any time.
Your consumer rights
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If something is faulty, you are entitled to a repair, a replacement or a refund depending on how serious the problem is, and to compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss.
Nothing in these terms limits those guarantees.
Privacy
How your details and your photographs are collected, used and kept is set out in full at /privacy/, and forms part of these terms.
Changes to these terms
The version that applies to your job is the one in force on the date we sent your price, and we email you a copy with that price. Changes here do not apply to a job already quoted.
