Water Care
Water Care is the servicing that keeps your filter working. Your system is installed with a full set of cartridges, good for twelve months. From then on the cartridges need changing every year, and Water Care is how that gets done, either posted to you or fitted by us.
Why it matters
A carbon block stops working long before it stops passing water. Cartridges have a twelve month life, and a filter left in past that does less than no filter at all, because it is holding everything it has already caught.
Water Care exists so that does not quietly happen in a garage for four years.
Two ways to have it done
Cartridge Club, $149 a year
Your cartridges posted to you once a year, with a video showing you how to change them. It takes about ten minutes and needs no tools beyond the housing spanner that comes with your system. Changing a cartridge is not plumbing work, so there is no plumber to book.
With a drinking water filter as well, $199 a year.
House Call, $299 a year
We come to you once a year to service the system. Cartridges fitted, housings cleaned, O-rings checked and greased, pressure and leak check on the whole assembly.
With a drinking water filter as well, $349 a year, which adds sanitising the tank and a TDS test on the output.
Tank systems are House Call only
A UV steriliser needs its lamp replaced every twelve months and its quartz sleeve cleaned, and that is a job for the licensed plumber who installed it rather than a posted kit. Tank Safe House Call is $379 a year and includes the lamp, the sleeve clean and the cartridges.
